ABOUT THE BOOK
Your Hand in Mine is about the early stages of a relationship between an older couple. Love between elderly couples has often been underplayed or treated with humor in books and films. This book is partially based on a real experience and emphasizes the importance of intimacy in all forms for all ages.
Finding a partner who understands you like no other is a true blessing. People often refer to that person as their soulmate. It’s when everything about the relationship feels right, you feel happy, and the bond is strong from the beginning.
The book underscores a connection between a senior couple, a connection that feels comfortable and almost familiar. The couple felt that the new partner felt like a long-time friend. They connected on an intimate and emotional level, as well as intellectually and spiritually.
The book shares songs, poems, and conversations that bring to life the growing love between an elderly couple. It serves as an illustration that love is important and possible at every stage of our lives.
